Appalachian Expeditions is 501 (c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to inspire appreciation and awareness for the central Appalachian ecoregion through adventure, community, and sustainable living skills.
We are thrilled to share amazing outdoor opportunities offered in the Allegheny Highlands with participants this summer. Our programs help participants learn about themselves, their communities, and the places they live. With your financial support, we are able to offer our programs to people from local communities as well as surrounding rural and urban areas.
