Our mission is to educate and inspire awareness and appreciation for the Central Appalachian ecoregion through adventure, community, and sustainable living skills. Our place-based programs are designed to facilitate connections between participants and their metaphorical backyards; we believe that sustainability starts locally when people develop relationships with the places outside their back door.

Where Are We?
Appalachian Expeditions is an outdoor education program based in Davis, West Virginia. We are centrally located between Pittsburgh (3 hours), Baltimore (3.5 hours), and Washington DC (3 hours).
