Bikepacking for Teens
Bikepacking for Teens
We are super excited to collaborate with Trail Labs on this trip. This introduction to bikepacking is about adventuring on two wheels. Our goal is to learn about bikes, the environment, and how to travel and camp with everything packed on two wheels. We will focus on soaking it all up and having fun rather than making big miles. On the first day we will get to know each other and our gear. We will start the day off with a bike clinic, followed by the ins and outs of what to bring and how to pack, including some time in the saddle with and without the gear. That first night we will camp at Blackwater Falls State Park. The next day we will head out, carrying all of our food and gear to camp three nights on the trail. With your instructors and peers, you will explore the wild corners of the Monongahela National Forest by bike.
